To customers with food allergies

1. Advance Notification Request
Please notify the staff in advance if you have food allergies or similar, when you make your reservation or upon entering the hotel.
2. Food Offered by This Hotel
The food offered by this hotel is prepared in the same cooking area as everything else on the menu.
Therefore, if an ingredient is an allergen for a guest, it cannot be perfectly removed, and some trace of it may remain.
Also, it is possible that when dishes and utensils like spoons or plates are washed, the allergen may not be perfectly removed, and some trace of it may remain.
Consequently, please take care to note that ultimately the foods offered by this hotel will not be made allergen-free, but rather low-allergen.
The hotel cannot guarantee that guests with allergies will not have allergic reactions to the food.
Depending on the extremity of a guest's general symptoms and their condition that day, it is possible that they could have a reaction to even a miniscule amount of the allergen.
3. Hotel Restaurant Allergy Information
The hotel restaurant "Acqua" and the hotel buffet restaurant "ricorico"have menu cards that specify foods containing any of seven allergen ingredients (eggs, milk, wheat, shrimp, crab, buckwheat, peanuts).
These refer to foods that purposefully include specific ingredients (seven items); however, this is not a guarantee that unlisted allergens are not present.
As explained in 2., this hotel prepares all foods in the same area.
Also, because of the nature of buffet restaurants, the same serving chopsticks, tongs, etc., may be used in multiple dishes, so the hotel cannot ensure that no allergens will be mixed in.
4. At the Time of Use
After coming to an understanding of the above information, we ask that customers realize that they are responsible for the ultimately decision.
5. Another Point of Note (Customers with Serious Symptoms)
If a customer has extreme reactions, they should make absolutely sure to notify the hotel in advance, and bring their own food if necessary.
The hotel puts customer safety first, and may decline a customer's patronage, so please thoroughly understand in advance.
